REGULATORY GUIDES During the 694th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS),
April 6 - 8, 2022, the Committee considered the following regulatory guides. No response to this memorandum is required.
REGULATORY GUIDES Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.246, Revision 0 (previously DG-1383), Acceptability of ASME Code,Section XI, Division 2, Requirements for Reliability and Integrity Management (RIM) Programs for Nuclear Power Plants, for Non-light Water Reactors, (ML21120A185). The Committee requests an opportunity to review after resolution of public comments and a Subcommittee meeting has been arranged for May 20, 2022, RG 3.54, Revision 3, Spent Fuel Heat Generation in an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation, (ML22067A014). The Committee does not request a briefing on this topic.
RG 1.251 (being issued trial for use), Technology-inclusive Risk-informed, and Performance-based Methodology for Seismic Design of Advanced Reactors, (ML22061A016). The Committee requests a briefing on this topic and this topic has been included in the June Full Committee meeting agenda.
