WF3 CPCS RF24 Inspection Plan.pdf Mr. Harris,

This e-mail serves to document that the United States (U.S.) Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (WF3) Core Protection Calculator (CPCS) Digital Upgrade and transmit the inspection plan to support preparation for the CPCS Installation Inspection scheduled to begin the week of May 2, 2022.

This inspection activity falls under IMC 2515, Appendix C, Special and Infrequently Performed Inspections and will use IP 52003, Digital Instrumentation and Control Modification. IP52003 is not a baseline ROP inspection, rather it is a Special and Infrequently Performed Inspection (IMC 2515 Appendix C). Details of the requested materials were previously requested for the Factory (Adams Ascension ML21195A066) and Site Acceptance Testing Inspection (Adams Ascension ML21285A024). For the Installation Inspection, please make sure the requested materials previously made available in electronic format using the online document portal are the most recent versions. If you have any questions, please contact me at the phone number listed below to discuss alternative options.
