UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 CHAIRMAN May 19, 2022 Dominic J. Mancini, Deputy Administrator Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs Office of Management and Budget Washington, DC 20503
Dear Mr. Mancini:
In response to Executive Order 12866, "Regulatory Planning and Review," signed September 30, 1993, I am enclosing the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Statement of Regulatory Priorities for fiscal year (FY) 2023. Although only one rulemaking listed in the enclosure meets the requirements identified in Executive Order 12866, the NRC has included in the Statement of Regulatory Priorities the most important and significant regulatory actions that the agency is considering issuing in proposed or final form during FY 2023.
You may direct questions about the NRC Statement of Regulatory Priorities for FY 2023 to Ms. Angella Love Blair, Rulemaking Support Team in the Regulatory Analysis and Rulemaking Support Branch, by e-mail to Angella.LoveBlair@nrc.gov.
Enclosure:
NRC Statement of Regulatory Priorities for FY 2023 Sincerely, Christopher T. Hanson
