Dear Dir. Warden:

Enclosed is revised export application XB1360, dated March 9, 2022, received by the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission from Humboldt Scientific, Inc. to replace the application forwarded to you on February 22, 2022. The revised application corrects the activity for each moisture/density gauge, not to exceed 30 gauges total for the duration of the requested license.

Each gauge will contain a maximum of 11 millicuries (mCi) of Cesium-137 and 44 mCi of Americium-241.

Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations Part 110.41(a)(10), from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.

As such, your assistance in obtaining the necessary Executive Branch views would be appreciated within 60 days after receiving this letter.
