UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 Docket No. 50-223 AMENDMENT TO INDEMNITY AGREEMENT NO. E-54 AMENDMENT NO. 11 Effective March 14

  • 2022 Indemnity Agreement No. E-54, between the University of Lowell, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated January 6, 1971, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:

The name "University of Lowell" is deleted wherever it appears in the agreement and substituted in lieu thereof by the name:

"University of Massachusetts Lowell" Item 1 of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is deleted in its entirety and the following substituted therefor:

Item 1 - Licensee University of Massachusetts Lowell Address 1 University Avenue Lowell, Massachusetts 01854 Item 2 of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is deleted in its entirety and the following substituted therefor:

Item 2 - License number or numbers R-125 Item 3 of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is deleted in its entirety and the following substituted therefor:

Item 3 - Location The University of Massachusetts Lowell Research Reactor (UMLRR) building, designed for confinement, and the attached three story building. The outline of the reactor building and the attached building is as shown in Figure 2-3 (area labelled "Pinanski Energy Center") and Figure 2-5 of the UMLRR Safety Analysis Report, dated October 20, 2015.

In light of the above amendments, Indemnity Agreement No. E-54 is between "University of Massachusetts Lowell," and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
