By letter dated October 27, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML21301A154), American Centrifuge Operating (ACO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp. (Centrus), requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approve proposed changes to SEC-18-0002, Information System Security Plan (ISSP) for Oak Ridge, TN; Piketon, OH; and Bethesda, MD.

By letter dated March 8, 2022, ACO submitted its final revision of SEC-18-0002 (ADAMS Accession No. ML22074A012).

The NRC staff has completed its review of SEC-18-0002 and found that it complies with applicable regulatory requirements and implements relevant guidance. The details associated with the review are documented in the enclosed non-public security evaluation report (SER). In response to this application, NRC has modified condition 10.t to license SNM-2011 by adding the date of the approved SEC-18-0002. In addition, NRC has deleted conditions 10.l, 10.m, 10.n and 10.v to license SNM-2011 since the security plans referenced by these conditions are no longer required.

Enclosures 1 and 2 transmitted herewith contain sensitive information. When separated from the sensitive conditions in those enclosures, this document and Enclosure 3 are decontrolled.
