Dear Mr. Warden:
Enclosed is export application XCOM1346, dated February 1, 2022, received by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) from Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corp. The application requests the export of steam generator nozzle dams, reactor and steam generator maintenance tooling and equipment, including segmented reactor cavity compression seal, diaphragm seals, replacement, and spare parts, including, but not limited to, nozzle check valves as described in paragraphs 5 through11 of Appendix A to Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 110 to China for installation at the Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Please note that the dollar amount on page one of the NRC Form 7 is proprietary information.
