Scenario #2, #3, and #4 contain actions of stopping an excess steam demand and have very similar mitigation strategies.
Scenario #1 and Scenario #3 were used on the Operating Exam. Scenario #2 was the spare. The excess steam demand was only used on one simulator sceanario.
2 Heater Drain Pump trips were used on 2017 and 2019 exams. The mitigation Scenario #2 became the spare scenario.
OBDI 202 - IOLE Process Rev 3 strategy of the proposed scenario #2 for the 2021 exam of lowering reactor power to 60% is different than the 95%
of 2017 and 2019. I want to look at this closer to be sure this event is different enough from 2017/2019. If we keep this event, could we shear a shaft or break the discharge line from the pump instead of reusing the trip?
