Docket No. 50-482: Revision of Two Procedures that Implement the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5), WCGS is submitting a change to the emergency plan.

Two procedures that implement the WCGS RERP have been revised. The revised documents are identified below:

Procedures Effective Dates AP 17C-024, Rev. 17 July 29, 2021 EPP 06-007, Rev. 27 August 02, 2021 The attached summary of the changes to the implementing procedure explain that these changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the WCGS RERP.

Attachment to RA 21-0065 Page 1 of 1 Summary of Changes to Two Procedures that Implement the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)

1. Procedure, AP 17C-024, Emergency Planning Responsibilities, Rev. 17 Procedure AP 17C-024 is being revised to ensure the Evacuation Time Estimate (ETE) analysis and Onsite Shift Staffing Analysis are performed and meet the applicable regulatory requirements. The ETE analysis specifically addresses the 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V.6 requirement for submittal to the NRC.

Other changes being made are administrative in nature. These changes include corrections associated with organizational titles due to corporate changes, minor wording change to definition, and step format changes that provide clarity.

The change does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.

2. Procedure, EPP 06-007, Emergency Notifications, Rev. 27 Procedure EPP 06-007 is being changed to provide enhanced guidance for filling out the emergency notification form(s). These changes provide greater detail and guidance on the required content of emergency notifications, allowing completion of these tasks in a more complete and accurate manner.

Other changes are administrative and include a step correction and organizational descriptions to align with the new Companys organization.

The change does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.
