  • Staffresponse:TheATFProjectPlanwasrevisedtomake clearthattheNRCstaffwillcontinuetotakeariskinformed approachtonuclearfuellicensing;however,theProject Planisnotintendedtoconveyguidanceonhowtopursue riskinformedlicensingofATFconcept,higherburnup,and increasedenrichmentfuels.TheNRCstaffcontinuesto encouragevendorsandlicenseesconsideringarisk informedapproachtoengageearlywiththestafftoidentify andresolvetherelevanttechnicalandpolicyissues.
