REFERENCE NEEDED Unsat because the reference assists answer selections for other questions.
You can't provide this drawing because it will help answer other questions on the exam. Also, you can ask things like you have in your explanation (such as does only downstream breaker trip or does both upstream and downstream breakers trip. You also don't need so difficult of a question for the KA. Could ask which buses auto transfer or must manually be transferred. Malfunction could be in the switchyard also.

Your explanation section is poor.
This is not legally defendable nor in acordance with NUREG. You have to explain why each distracter is plausible but not correct. For example, is overvoltage ever credible? Does anything have an overvoltage trip?

3 2017-12 NRC You have this marked as LOD = 1 in the worksheet and this is wrong. Need to change this to LOD = 2 or 3. This question is extremely troublesome for appeals or challenges because per the procedure this is a subjective consideration. The answer is clearly on the list of an IPTE but removing a reactor steam separator (distracter B) would ALSO qualify as an IPTE even though it is not on the list in the procedure. This would mean there are possibly two correct answers.
I also don't think that manipulating the mode switch (DIstracter C) is a credible distracter. I would recommend a new question such as IAW EN-OP-116, planned power changes greater than ____

Unsat because the supplied reference assists answer selections for other questions. No reference needed with new question (rev2) and it is now Sat.

4 Your explanation section is poor.
This is not legally defendable nor in accordance with NUREG. You have to explain why each distracter is plausible but not correct. For example, is overvoltage ever credible? Does anything have an overvoltage trip?
If not, then A and D are not credible. Selected bank question from 2007 NRC exam and question is now Sat.

7 Legally challengable question with this stem. Should be "How long is the Division 2 EDG designed to operate for these conditions?"
This makes your distracter D not credible also. KA mismatch-doesn't address any knowledge of grounds - If put in the stem ""to determine the magnitude of the ground fault, the CRS will need to use which procedure" (now we have SRO procedure selection) and use procedures 1. electrical grounds ONEP 2. SOI-04-1-01-L11-1
- 3. ARI for different alarm windows placed in stem. Could also use the ONEP for loss of annunciators as a choice. Tier 2 usually should not take you to reactor trip unless no other way to answer the KA. In this case a ground without loss of bus is easy to set up without a bus loss.
I would recommend a new question such as IAW EN-OP-116, planned power changes greater than ____
are evaluated by the OM for IPTE controls. A. 10% B. 20% C.
30% D. 40% (Answer 30%)
