Dear DFM Director,
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between our agencies, I request that you review the attached Japanese Certificate of Competent Authority J/2037/AF-96, Revision 0, dated May 6, 2021, for the MX-6P package and make a recommendation concerning our revalidation of the package for import and export use.
To assist you in your review, a copy of the package design safety report for the MX-6P package, along with other supporting documents will be provided to your staff electronically. The applicant requests our certificate by December 2022 to support shipments in 2023.
