Submission of SARP 3979A modification to Section 8 NCT seal material test temperature Dear Mr. Allen Enclosed with this letter are the proposed temperature reduction impact assessment on SARP 3979A Rev 7(CTR 2021/22 Issue A), with the intention or reducing the NCT seal test temperature specified in Section 8 of the SARP from 150oC to 130oC. This assessment is supported by the test work reported in CTR 2021/24 Issue A, which is also enclosed.
The documentation submitted includes an assessment of the impact on safety functions associated with the NCT test temperature reduction, no other changes are proposed. These documents include Croft proprietary information that we request be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to paragraph (a)(4) of 10 CFR 2.390: we hereby submit an affidavit regarding this proprietary information.
