Dear Mr. Barstow:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) has closed the subject case regarding a security officer (SO) who was allegedly inattentive on duty at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant and a second SO who allegedly failed to notify supervision of the inattentiveness.
The NRC determined there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that these security concerns occurred. We plan no further action regarding this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
