SUBJECT:

OPERATOR LICENSING PROGRAM MANUAL CHAPTERS The following new operator licensing program manual chapters have been issued and placed in ADAMS in support Revision 12 of NUREG-1021:

  • OLMC 510, Operator Licensing Examination Reports (ML21109A143)
  • OLMC-520, Operator Licensing Examination Records and Documentation (ML21109A210)

These new manual chapters include the guidance for examination reports and examination records that was previously included in NUREG-1021, Revision 11, and which has been removed from Revision 12. The regions are encouraged to review any existing checklists or other job aids used for records management to ensure they align with these OLMCs.

Additionally, the following manual chapter has been revised and placed in ADAMS: OLMC-330, Evaluation of the Operator Licensing Program (ML21222A045). The revised manual chapter

has been reviewed by the regions, and comments have been considered and incorporated where appropriate. The purpose of the revision is to reflect the current processes in use and establish an annual review of the results of examination audits, the regional office review and the regional self-assessment, and informal reviews (i.e., administrative reviews) to identify topics for training and potential changes to the examination standards.
