Dear Mr. Warden:
Enclosed is an application (XCOM1341), dated October 11, 2021, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) from Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Service, LLC. This application requests the export of steam generator nozzle dams, reactor and steam generator maintenance tooling and equipment, including segmented reactor cavity compression seal, diagram seals and replacement spare parts described in paragraph (11) of Appendix A to Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 110 to China for installation at the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Please note that the dollar amount on page one of the NRC Form 7 is proprietary information.
