U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission plans to conduct public meetings regarding decommissioning of the Duane Arnold Energy Center on September 28 and October 6 Date: Friday, September 17, 2021 5:31:00 PM Attachments: Duane Arnold Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report ML20094F603.pdf Good Afternoon, The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is performing regulatory activities in support of the decommissioning of Duane Arnold Energy Center located near Palo, Iowa.

The NRC will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, September 28th, from 6-9 PM local time at the Palo Community Center, 2800 Hollenbeck Road, to discuss the Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report for the decommissioning of the Duane Arnold Energy Center (attached), and to solicit public comments on this document. The public meeting details are available at: https://www.nrc.gov/pmns/mtg?do=details&Code=20211170 The NRC will conduct a virtual public meeting on October 6, 2021, at 5-7 PM Central Time, on this same topic.
