Dear Ms. Fitch:
We have reviewed your letter dated August 19, 2021, requesting a 6-month extension of the Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) for the classified networks located at the Technology and Manufacturing Center (TMC) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and the classified thin client system located at the American Centrifuge Plant (ACP) in Piketon, Ohio. These systems are each currently operating under the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorized IATO that are valid through November 1, 2021 in (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Nos. ML21119A269 and ML21025A024).
A new interim IATO has been granted by the NRC Authorizing Official and is provided in. Enclosure 2 contains an authorization assessment report for the TMC. Enclosure 3 contains an authorization assessment report for the ACP.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
This document transmits enclosures containing sensitive, unclassified information.
When separated from the enclosures, this document is decontrolled.
