Initial Spent Fuel Load Campaign On November 1, 2021, Exelon Generation Company, LLC., is scheduled to begin initial loading at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (Calvert Cliffs) of spent fuel under Calvert Cliffs general license.
Due to an administrative oversight, Calvert Cliffs failed to provide official notification 90 days prior to the start of the load campaign as required by 10CFR72.212(b)(1). However previous communications were made that has allowed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to schedule its inspection of the upcoming load campaign.
