Purpose:

To provide information on and request your voluntary participation on a survey to obtain external stakeholder feedback on the agencys transformation efforts to become a more modern, risk-informed regulator.

Background:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is transforming to realize our vision of becoming a modern, risk-informed regulator and to put ourselves in the best position to continue to meet our important safety and security mission. As part of this effort, we have identified focus areas in which NRC staff have been leading and progressing on various initiatives. You can learn more about our transformation efforts on our Transformation public web page.

Discussion: As a valued stakeholder, the NRC respectfully requests your optional feedback based on your recent engagement and interactions with NRC staff. Your feedback will allow us to internally assess how our transformation focus areas have directly contributed to our mission performance, information sharing, quality of decision-making, and timeliness of decision-making. Your input will also help tailor our future transformation activities.

Until March 31, 2022, a brief 10-minute survey is available on our Transformation public web page1. You can also directly access the survey via this link: NRC External Stakeholder Feedback Survey. Your responses will be kept confidential, and data will only be presented in aggregate form.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. We sincerely appreciate your support in our transformation efforts to become a modern, risk-informed regulator.
