[External_Sender] Westinghouse Commentary Extension Importance:
High I am hereby requesting that the Sept. 20, 2021 commentary deadline be extended for an additional 60 days for the public to review the highly technical NRC report on the proposed 40 year license for the Westinghouse Fuel Fabrication facility in Hopkins, SC.
My constituents in Hopkins and nearby communities have not had ample time to review and respond to the NRC report.
Several residents and local community groups have contacted me seeking my assistance in requesting this extension and as a Hopkins resident myself, I firmly believe an extension of the commentary period is warranted.
Please advise as to NRC's determination regarding this request.
