Garner Valley Downhole Array Geotechnical Data

  • Near-surface stratigraphy consists of 18-25 m of lake-bed sediments consisting of alternating layers of sand, silty sand, clayey sand, and silty gravel.
  • Decomposed granite classified as gravely sand exists between 25m and 88 m until granite bedrock is reached From Steller 1996
