OF WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY 2021 FUEL PERFORMANCE UPDATE CLOSED MEETING (EPID: L-2021-NTM-0004)
On September 22, 2021, Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) held virtually 2021 Westinghouse Fuel Performance Update Meeting in a form of teleconference.
Westinghouse presented proprietary information regarding Westinghouse fuel performance and future plans. Westinghouse provided updates on the pressurized water reactor (PWR) fuel performance codes and methods and on the boiling water reactor (BWR) fuel performance and methods that included AXIOM cladding (licensing plans, properties, performance data), and PRIME' fuel. Westinghouse also provided updates on the Westinghouse accident tolerant fuel (ATF) program, EnCore fuel program, ADOPT' fuel, coated cladding, high burnup program, and Westinghouse ATF milestones. Westinghouse presented information on the future topical report submittals. Additional topics of discussion were Westinghouse machine learning programs and additive manufacturing. By letter dated September 21, 2021, Westinghouse submitted presentation slides (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML21265A010).
