VENDOR INSPECTION OF NTS HUNTSVILLES QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONSPART 21 PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
Dear Mr. Jefferson:
This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection to review the implementation of NTS Huntsvilles Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants, to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR) Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, and 10 CFR Part 21,Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance, programs, as they pertain to safety-related testing activities conducted at your facility for NRCs regulated facilities. As discussed in a telephone call on September 21, 2021, the NRC inspection team plans to begin the inspection on Monday, October 18, 2021, and will conduct the inspection through Friday, October 22, 2021. Subsequent to the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
