GENERIC ISSUE MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM REPORT FOR THE SECOND HALF OF FISCAL YEAR 2021 Enclosed for your information is the Generic Issue Management Control System report for the second half of fiscal year 2021, covering the period from April 2021 through October 2021.
The Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research is providing this report of active generic issues (GIs) to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation to support follow-up actions associated with the proposed GI, PRE-GI-018,High-Energy Arc Faults Involving Aluminum, which exited from the GI Program during this period. This report is also being provided to the other regulatory offices for information.
The enclosure summarizes the status, activities, and final completion date for PRE-GI-018.
The NRC provides more detailed information on each active GI on the GI Dashboard. The GI Dashboard is located on the NRCs internal Web site at http://gid.nrc.gov/Planning and on the NRC's external Web site at https://www.nrc.gov/about-nrc/regulatory/gen-issues/dashboard.html.
