Enclosed is an application (XB1358) dated August 31, 2021, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Agilent Technologies, Inc., for the export of six nickel 63 (Ni-63) sealed sources, each containing 15 millicuries, (550 Mbqs) of byproduct material to the National Agricultural Research Centre in Pakistan.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views on this applications, in accordance with Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations Part 110.41(a)(9), from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
