SUBJECT: VOID LETTER CONCERNING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT,
CONTROL NO. 625767
Dear Dr. Midthun:
This letter concerns the subject request to amend U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
License No. 50-27784-01. You requested to remove yourself as the radiation safety officer
(RSO) and replace yourself with Dr. Jaren Meldrum. Your amendment request is available
electronically from the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at
Accession No. ML21138A921.
By letter dated August 9, 2021, you informed us that you would like to withdraw the amendment
request and that you will continue to act as the RSO until Dr. Meldrum meets the requirements
to be authorized as the RSO. Therefore, we have administratively closed your license
amendment request. This action is taken without prejudice to the resubmission of your request.
Note that if you submit a new request at a later date, you may refer to Control No. 625767 for
the documentation you have already provided.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be
available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the
NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at
http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
