SUBJECT:
Written communication specified in 10 ¢FR 71.106 regarding changes to the University of Missouri Research Reactor Type B Shipping Quality Assurance Plan that do not reduce commitments found in the original document.
MURR revised the Shipping Quality Assurance Program associated with NRC Program Approval Number 0108 on July 15, 2020. The revision did not reduce the commitments found in the quality assurance program previously approved by the NRC. The nature of the revision is authorized by 71.106{b).
The following provides a summary of the program revision:
The requirement to report nonconformances as specified in 10 CFR 21 was clarified in the section on procurement.
The section covering corrective actions was revised to more clearly define how the MURR Corrective Action Program wil.I.b~ used to formally document the resolution of program de.ficiencies. *,
