OF AUGUST 10-11, 2021, ANNUAL INDUSTRY /
U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION MATERIALS PROGRAMS TECHNICAL INFORMATION EXCHANGE PUBLIC MEETING On August 10 and 11, 2021, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a teleconference public meeting with representatives from the nuclear industry for an exchange of technical information on the industrys ongoing materials programs, in particular as related to the integrity of reactor pressure vessels, reactor vessel internals, and piping. This years annual public meeting was not held in-person due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The industry representatives included staff from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Owners Group (PWROG), the Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) Owners Group (BWROG), licensees and vendor companies. Many of the licensee representatives also hold advisory roles to the EPRI Materials Reliability Program (MRP), EPRI BWR Vessel and Internals Project (BWRVIP), PWROG Materials Committee (MSC) and EPRI International Materials Research (IMR) committee. In addition, members of the public also participated by teleconference.

All presentations and other information related to this public meeting (e.g., meeting notice, agenda, and presentations) are available on the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession ML21217A247. The agenda file provides the identifier number for the presentation file(s) that were used for each agenda topic.
During open discussions period, the meeting participants noted that even though this meeting was held via teleconference with its associated technological limitations, it still provided an excellent venue for exchanging technical information of mutual interest considering the COVID-19 pandemic.
