By letter dated November 16, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No.ML20329A292), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) submitted an application for subsequent renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos.DPR-24 and DPR-27 for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units1and2 (Point Beach), respectively, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The NRC staff in the Vessels and Internals Branch (NVIB), Corrosion and Steam Generators (NCSG), and Piping and Head Penetrations (NPHP) in the Division of New and Renewed Licenses (DNRL); and the Structural, Civil, Geotech Engineering Branch (ESEB) in the Division of Engineering and External Hazards (DEX); and the PRA Licensing Branch B (APLB) in the Division of Risk Assessment (DRA), is in the process of reviewing your application. Based on our review, the NRC staff has identified the attached draft requests for additional information (RAIs).
