[EXTERNAL EMAIL]

Good afternoonTaylor, The City of Carlsbad through the Double Eagle Water system does have the capacityto provide a peak flow of 30 gpm to the Holtec project. Currently all water near the Water System is Non-Potable, however with the installationof the service line a small chlorinator system could be installedto make the water a potable water source. The City has previouslycommittedto providing Holtec the water needed to operatetheir office building and stands ready to provide this service at the above mentionedrate when necessary.

Many thanks, K.C.

Mr. Cass,

Thank you for the call! To confirm I understood correctly, does Double Eagle Water Supply have infrastructure in place to provide Holtec with water at a peak rate of 30 gpm? What type of water (potable or nonpotable) does Double Eagle provide to Holtecs proposed project area? If potable water is needed, what would need to be done to obtain it?

Thank you for your help.

Double Eagle Water Supply Follow-Up Importance: High

KC and Ron,

You may remember that John Lowe directed me to you back in January when I first reached out to City of Carlsbad regarding the Double Eagle Water Systems ability to provide water for the Holtec Continuing Interim Storage Facility in Lea County, near Halfway, New Mexico. If one of you could give me a call at 806-891-3427 at your earliest convenience, I would appreciate it. We are trying to wrap up our project and need the information as soon as possible.

Thank you, Taylor Holt
