STATUS OF RECOMMENDATIONS: AUDIT OF DNFSBS COMPLIANCE UNDER THE DIGITAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY ACT (DATA ACT) (DNFSB-20-A-02)
REFERENCE:
OFFICE OF THE GENERAL MANAGER, CORRESPONDENCE DATED JUNE 30, 2021 Attached is the Office of the Inspector Generals (OIG) analysis and status of recommendations as discussed in the DNFSBs response dated June 30, 2021. Based on this response, recommendation one remains open and resolved. Recommendation two was closed previously.
Please provide an updated status of the resolved recommendation by January 7, 2022.

Audit Report AUDIT OF DNFSBS COMPLIANCE WITH THE DIGITAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY ACT OF 2014 DNFSB-20-A-02 Status of Recommendations Recommendation 1:
Work with DNFSBs FSSP to correct the PIIDs for new obligations in its accounting system and to correct the mapping of certain data elements to ensure that data elements are in accordance with the data standards established by OMB and Treasury.
Agency Response Dated June 30, 2021:
Implementation of this recommendation is still in progress.
DNFSB is currently working with their Federal Shared Service Provider (FSSP) to correct the PIIDs and mapping of data elements. Tentative completion of correcting the issue is Q1, FY22 (November 30, 2021).
OIG Analysis:
The proposed corrective action meets the intent of this recommendation. The OIG will close the recommendation when the DNFSB is able to provide evidence that all C to D1 crossfile warnings are eliminated and data elements are in accordance with the data standards established by the OMB and Treasury.
