APPENDIX B, continued (Incident Report of Sea Turtle Take)

Draw wounds, abnormalities, tag locations on diagram and briefly describe below.

Damage to rhamphopheca, anterior to right eye and abrasions observed to ventral portion of neck.

Description of animal:

At the time of observation at 08:16AM, the specimen was determined to be deceased, indicated by the lack of movement and an existing odor of decay. Specimen revealed damage to the front of the head, in what appears to be a partial separation of the rhamphopheca from the skull, as well as abrasions to the skin on the ventral portion of the neck. Minor damage, in the form of abrasions or scale separation, found on the carapace, in the location of the 2nd and 3rd vertebral scute (refer to illustration). External tags were not observed, and an internal PIT tag was not indicated.
