The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff on the status of the agencys transformation activities, and by an external panel in the areas of risk, innovation, culture, and technology adoption. The external panel included Reginald Mitchell, Chief Financial Officer and Enterprise Risk Management Secretariat, United States Agency for International Development; Teresa W.
Gerton, President and CEO, National Academy of Public Administration; Dr. Steven Simon, President and Founder, Culture Change Consultants, Inc.; and Jeff Place, Executive Vice President for Strategy, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
There were no requirements identified for staff action.
