SUBJECT:

ROUTE APPROVAL APPLICATION (U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ROUTE NO. 267), DOCKET NUMBER: 070-07011

Dear Mr. Mosley:

I am responding to your letter dated March 22, 2021, which requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approve Truck Route No. 267. Route No. 267 is used for transporting spent nuclear fuel.

The NRC has reviewed your application and concluded that the information you provided dated March 22, 2021, with supplemental information provided on June 22, 2021, satisfies the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 73.37. This letter constitutes approval. The approved route is designated as Truck Route No. 267 and will expire July 30, 2026. The NRC expects your periodic review and update of the emergency telephone numbers associated with this route. Changes to emergency contact numbers do not qualify as a route deviation or change.

If you have questions on this route approval or require additional information please contact Ms. Alexus Willis at 301-415-0479, or via e-mail at Alexus.Willis@nrc.gov.

Sincerely, Signed by Rivera, Alison on 06/30/21 Alison L. Rivera, Chief Materials Security Branch Division of Physical and Cyber Security Policy Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response
