I. SECY-21-0048 - FIRSTENERGY COMPANIES AND TMI-2 SOLUTIONS, LLC (THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2), MOTION TO HOLD THE PROCEEDING IN ABEYANCE The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order addressing a motion by Eric Epstein, Chairman of Three Mile Island Alert, Inc. to hold the license transfer of Three Mile Island Unit 2 in abeyance. The Memorandum and Order denies the motion.
(Subsequently, on June 22, 2021, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
II. SECY-21-0051 - INTERIM STORAGE PARTNERS, LLC (WCS CONSOLIDATED INTERIM STORAGE FACILITY), FASKEN PETITION FOR REVIEW OF LBP-21-2 (DENYING MOTIONS TO REOPEN AND ADMIT A NEW CONTENTION)
The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order addressing the petition for review of LBP-21-2 filed by Fasken Land and Minerals, Ltd. and Permian Basin Land and Royalty Owners (together, Fasken), which appeals the Boards denial of its motions to reopen the proceeding and to admit a new Contention 5. The Memorandum and Order denies the petition.
