Event Response: Government to Government Meeting - May 26, 2021 Presentation Title Government to Government Meeting on Event Response Availability Publicly Available Document Sensitivity Non-Sensitive Keyword SUNSI Review Complete Description Kevin Williams, Director of MSST and David Crowley, Chair of the Organization of Agreement States hosted a government-to-government meeting on materials event response, with support from the Regional State Agreement Officers (RSAOs), Headquarter Operation Center Duty Officer (HOOs), and RES. Topics discussed included Agreement State staff (Cason Coen, AL and Jeff Dauzat, LA) and RSAO perspectives (Monica Ford, RI; Randy Erickson, RIV and Jackie Cook, RIV) on the response and reporting of two exposure events in Agreement States; HOO perspectives (Brian Lin, NSIR) on receiving Agreement State events; the availability of dose calculation tools and resources at the NRC (Katie Tapp, MSST and Vered Shaffer, RES); lessons learned; and optimizing State-NRC interactions.
