UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 May 27, 2021 ALL AGREEMENT STATES, CONNECTICUT NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE TO THE ADVANCED RESRAD (H-412) COURSE (STC-21-030)
Purpose:
To provide notification to the States of students selected to attend the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) virtual offering of the Advance RESRAD (H-412) Course to be held June 22-24, 2021.
Background:
The NRC provides funding to the Agreement States for training and the associated travel.
Discussion: Students selected to attend the June 22-24, 2021, virtual offering of the Advanced RESRAD (H-412) Course are provided in Enclosure 1. Please provide this notification to each individual from your program that has been accepted to this course. Detailed guidance for students will be provided at least 2 weeks prior to course start.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE: Individuals listed in Enclosure 1 have been accepted for participation in the virtual offering of the Advanced RESRAD (H-412). This course is scheduled to be presented June 22-24, 2021, provided by instructors from NRC Headquarters and the NRC Regional Offices.
COURSE: Please see our web site, https://scp.nrc.gov/training.html for the Tentative Course Schedule and that the course begins at 8:00 a.m. central time on Tuesday, June 22nd, and ends at approximately 12:00 p.m. central time on Thursday, June 24th.
All course materials will be provided by the contractor, Argonne National Lab, via an application called Box.
Course lectures will be delivered using MS Teams. Please make sure you have a dependable internet connection, as well as a means to share and receive audio such as a webcam or a headset.
Further instructions, including course schedule, will be provided via email to selected students.
