This Office recently received a review request for the North Anna Power Station in Louisa and Spotsylvania counties in Virginia. Louisa and Spotsylvania counties are outside the Cherokee Nations Area of Interest. Thus, this Office respectfully defers to federally recognized Tribes that have an interest in this landbase at this time.
Additionally, as a housekeeping note, please update Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma to Cherokee Nation.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is conducting a review of the environmental effects of renewing the operating licenses for North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (NAPS). Accordingly, the NRC is inviting parties who may be interested in the proposed action to consult on this matter. The purpose of the attached letter is to initiate Section 106 consultation with your Tribe.
