Dear Mr. DeLaBarre:

Enclosed is an application (XB1357), dated April 20, 2021, from Agilent Technologies, Inc., and received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The application requests the export of four devices each containing 0.00055 terabecquerels (TBq) of Nickel-63 (Ni-63), for a total of activity of 0.0022 TBq of Ni-63, to Pakistan. The devices will be placed in gas chromatography equipment for compound analysis.

Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
