Audit Report AUDIT OF DNFSBS ISSUE AND COMMITMENT TRACKING SYSTEM (IACTS) AND ITS RELATED PROCESSES DNFSB-19-A-02 Status of Recommendations Recommendation 5:
Create and implement a policy to consistently track RFBAs through a tracking mechanism or through IACTS.
Agency Response Dated April 2021:
Status as of April 2021:
DNFSB Board Procedures identify that RFBAs shall be entered into the Boards action tracking system. That document is attached below as supporting documentation and is referenced on page 34.
Further, DNFSBs Executive Secretaries developed a handbook to outline procedures and tracking for Board actions. RFBA tracking is covered on page 15 of that document, which is also attached below as supporting documentation. As we do for other Board processes, RFBAs are entered and tracked in the Entellitrak system.
OIG Analysis:
The OIG reviewed the March 2019 Board Procedures and the April 2021 Board Executive Secretary (ExSec) Front Office Procedures Handbook. The OIG confirmed that the DNFSB has created and implemented the policy to enter RFBAs into the Entellitrak system for tracking purposes; therefore, this recommendation is now closed.
Status:
Closed.
