MUTUAL COPYRIGHT MATERIALS USE AGREEMENT IN SUPPORT OF EXTREMELY LOW PROBABILITY OF RUPTURE VERSION 2 CODE PROJECTS
Dear Dr. Baranwal:
Please find enclosed a signed, mutual copyright materials use agreement. This agreement supports publication of certain reports developed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (NRC/RES) and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in connection with joint projects involving the Extremely Low Probability of Rupture (xLPR) Version 2 (V2) probabilistic fracture mechanics code.
NRC/RES and EPRI have pursued the joint xLPR V2 projects under addenda to their memoranda of understanding for cooperative nuclear safety research dated March 14, 2007, and September 30, 2016 (NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML070740114 and ML16223A495, respectively). The terms of the mutual copyright materials use agreement fulfill conditions specified in paragraph III.C(2)a of the addendum, Maintenance, Support, and Distribution of the xLPR Version 2 Code, dated April 20, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20073F692). The agreement also supports publication of reports developed cooperatively under the addendum, xLPR Version 2 Code Documentation and Leak-Before-Break Applications, dated May 16, 2016 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17040A146).
