DESIGNATION OF AUTHORITY TO APPROVE SPECIAL ACT AND TIME-OFF AWARDS As permitted by Management Directive 10.72, Awards and Recognition, I hereby designate to Region I Division Directors (DDs) and Deputy Division Directors (DDDs) the authority to approve certain Special Act (GG cash awards) and Time-Off Awards.
Pursuant to this designation, DDs and DDDs are authorized to approve GG cash awards up to six thousand dollars ($6,000) for individuals or individual members of a group; DDs and DDDs are also authorized to approve of Time-Off Awards up to 80 hours9.259259e-4 days <br />0.0222 hours <br />1.322751e-4 weeks <br />3.044e-5 months <br /> for a single contribution (generally, no more than 80 hours9.259259e-4 days <br />0.0222 hours <br />1.322751e-4 weeks <br />3.044e-5 months <br /> per leave year). This designation will enhance the efficiency of award issuances in Region I and I find it to be appropriate. These functions and responsibilities covered by this designation cannot be re-delegated further. This designation of authority is effective immediately.
