UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION In the Matter of NEXTERA ENERGY SEABROOK, LLC Docket No. 50-443-LA-2 (Seabrook Station, Unit 1)

ORDER On August 21, 2020, the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board issued an initial decision on a challenge by C-10 Research and Education Foundation (C-10) to a license amendment request filed by NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC related to the operating license for Seabrook Unit 1.1 The Board found that the license amendment, with the addition of four license conditions, provided reasonable assurance of adequate protection.2 C-10 filed a motion to reopen the record for consideration of supplemental testimony, a motion for leave and a motion for partial reconsideration, and a motion for leave to reply to oppositions to its motion for partial reconsideration.3 On November 6, 2020, the Board denied C-10s motions, except that it granted its motion for leave to reply for a limited purpose.4 None of the parties appealed either 1 LBP-20-9, 92 NRC __ (slip op.)
