Dear Mr. Bittner:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) has closed the subject case regarding a fire in the supercompactor that occurred in June 2020.
The NRC determined that there was no evidence that would indicate wrongdoing was associated with this matter and further investigation was not warranted. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter please contact us.
