SUMMARY
OF KEY OBSERVATIONS AND LESSONS-LEARNED FOR THE 2020 FORCE-ON-FORCE INSPECTION PROCEDURE 92707 ACTIVITIES Due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the NRC modified or deferred many of its planned inspection activities, including the triennial force-on-force (FOF) inspection conducted under Inspection Procedure (IP) 71130.03. For 2020, IP 92707 was developed which implements multiple limited-scope tactical response drills that verify and assess specific key elements of the licensees protective strategy while also addressing continued safety concerns for NRC inspectors and licensee employees. Enclosed is the summary of key observations and lessons-learned from the 2020 FOF IP 92707 activities.
