Purpose:
To provide notification to the States of students selected to attend the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) virtual offering of the Safety Aspects of Industrial Radiography (H-305) Course to be held March 15-19, 2021.
Background:
The NRC provides funding to the Agreement States for training and the associated travel.
Discussion: Students selected to attend the March 15-19, 2021, virtual offering of the Safety Aspects of Industrial Radiography (H-305) Course are provided in Enclosure 1. Please provide this notification to each individual from your program that has been accepted to this course.
Detailed guidance for students will be provided at least 2 weeks prior to course start.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE: Individuals listed in Enclosure 1 have been accepted for participation in the virtual offering of the Safety Aspects of Industrial Radiography (H-305) Course. This course is scheduled to be presented March 15-19, 2021, provided by instructors from Source Production and Equipment Company (SPEC).
COURSE: The course begins at 8:00 a.m. CDT on Monday, March 15th, and ends at approximately 12:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, March 19th.
All course materials will be provided electronically. Students will be notified by the Course Director when the course materials are available and given instructions on how to access them at that time.
Course lectures will be delivered using the WebEx software. Students will need a computer with a dependable internet connection (and preferably Chrome as your browser). Students will also need a speakerphone, a webcam, or a headset with a mic in order to hear and communicate with the instructors. Prior to the course, students will receive an email with a link to the WebEx meeting.
Further instructions, including course schedule, will be provided via email to selected students.
