SUMMARY
OF FEBRUARY 1, 2021, PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING WITH SARGENT & LUNDY, LLC REGARDING CHANGES TO THE QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM TOPICAL REPORT On February 1, 2021, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a Category 2 public meeting with representatives from Sargent & Lundy, LLC (S&L). The purpose of the meeting was for S&L and the NRC staff to discuss changes to S&L Quality Assurance Program Topical Report SL-TR-1. The meeting was noticed on January 15, 2021, and is available at the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML21019A526.
During the meeting, S&L representatives gave the NRC staff an overview of S&L services to the nuclear industry and discussed the primary drivers for the changes to the topical report (TR).
S&L representatives also gave the staff on overview of the proposed changes that will be in the submittal. The S&L representatives further indicated that they plan to submit the revised TR before or by February 5, 2021. During the recap and the opportunity for public comments at the end of the meeting, there were no questions or comments from members of the public. The S&L slide presentation is available in ADAMS at Accession No. ML21029A106.
