Proposed schedules for a meeting with PRB regarding 10/13/2020 2.206 petition request from the Public Watchdogs Date: Monday, January 25, 2021 3:59:00 PM Mr. Langley, The NRC staff offers the following scheduling options for your meeting with the Petition Review Board (PRB) members with respect to your 10/13/2020 2.206 petition request. This is an opportunity for you to clarify and/or supplement your petition request.
Tuesday, 2/9/2021, 2:00 - 3:00 pm OR Thursday, 2/11/2021, 2:00 - 3:00 pm Regarding your questions (in bold), please see our responses below:
- 1) Does the NRC guarantee the active participation of the PRB members?
Question: What steps has the NRC taken to make certain that the members of the Petition Review Board are actually present, listening, and watching this conference?
PRB members are expected to be present and actively listening during public meetings with petitioners. The interruption to the June 24, 2020, public meeting, which was related to a separate/prior 2.206 petition request, was identified as being an issue with a member of the public.
- 2) What is the deadline for providing our presentation materials?
Please feel free to provide your presentation when it is available (can be before or after the meeting).
- 3) Public access to the Zoom meeting and the complete video/audio of the meeting.
The NRC will add the meeting transcript to ADAMS as a publicly available document per Management Directive 8.11.
Please reply by 1/27/2021 regarding your availability.
