As the petition manager of your October 13, 2020, 2.206 petition request, I want to inform you that the NRC staff has completed the screening process, and entered your 2.206 petition request into the evaluation process in accordance with Section II.A.2 of NRC Management Directive (MD) 8.11 Review Process for 10 CFR 2.206 Petitions (ADAMS Accession No. ML18296A043).
Your October 13, 2020, petition request will be evaluated by a Petition Review Board (PRB). The PRB will perform its assessment of your request using the evaluation criteria in MD 8.11,Section III.C, Criteria for Petition Evaluation. I will contact you with the results of this assessment when it is completed.
As the NRC continues its assessment, please be aware that the 10 CFR 2.206 petition process is a public process, and the information related to the petition is made publicly available, including the identity of the petitioner.
